It can be especially risky for light vehicles who buzz around heavy machinery and equipment. Sometimes they can pose a major visibility risk, which leads to collisions or accidents. And while there’s no fool-proof way to prevent this, mining safety flags are an easy, obvious way to minimise the risk.
Naturally, these flags are a regulatory obligation you need to meet. But beyond that, they can be a lifesaver. The long, tough poles that can be fully illuminated as LEDs, extend the visibility of a vehicle well above the cab roof.
The flags maximise reflectiveness, so they stand out even when the briefest light is flashed their way. The quick release base allows you to attach (or detach) a flag onto a vehicle in literally a few seconds. Plus, the sturdy construction of pole, flag, and base means a VSF flag will last even in the roughest conditions for years.
